I mean. ‘Sokay. Actually, wow! This is a little trail to Mossy cave. . It featured a little bit of everything. The waterfall, a cave, #hoodoos, #arches, #river, bridge, sheer beauty. . The water was redirected for miles and miles over a century ago using natural low areas to reroute the water to flow into the city below. Everyone who lives there depends on this flow of water. . @zionnps (Zion National Park) has more to it than just the shuttle bus area. I just found this out yesterday. Took a drive from the east entrance in just past the mile long tunnel. Which was a little unnerving to drive through! . The views were out of this world though. I am camping by myself and so I went by myself. I really do enjoy solo drives- I can listen to whatever music or podcasts I want to. Mostly on gorgeous drives like this, I choose good jamming music. It’s good for my soul. . I have been very much enjoying being parked alone for once in a very long time. (Over a year?) I’m volunteering at the shelter, working, relaxing, and spending good quality time with my pups. It has been very quiet. . Quiet is something I have been missing for a good while now. This has been a great change of pace for me. I’m thoroughly enjoying it and don’t know when I want to join back up with others. . Thanksgiving may be just another day for me this year. We shall see. . Having a nice little dinner with myself. And it’s delish! It’s a vegetarian restaurant owned by one of the Best Friends Shelter’s founders. . This alone time isn’t so bad. 💕 funny though, my first two days of volunteering… I don’t feel like I’m helping very much. They have so many employees I think they have all bases covered. It’s almost like to try to make it more of an enjoyable experience for the volunteers. Not to be doing much of the dirty work. But that’s kind of why I came and what I was expecting. . Don’t get me wrong, the place is amaze balls. Truly an incredible place for animals. I just wish there was more I could do to help. Today I played with cats. I don’t think they were overly excited that I was there. . Because, cats.😂😂😂 . . The two I took out did seem to enjoy their out time.
